Miss Print's quick help guide to using a mailing list (joining,
leaving etc).  If you haven't used one before, you might want to 
read the longer reference guide at:

		/help/lur.html

Please note that there is now a web-interface to subscribing,
unsubscribing from lists, and viewing your subscription options at:

	/cgi-bin/majordomo

Below are the commands you send to the majordomo address at
missprint.org.  In all cases you need to send these in the body of
a mail message (not the subject) to:

		majordomo@missprint.org

Substitute the name of your list for "listname" in all commands.

1) Joining/leaving
------------------

  to subscribe to the main list:	
	send "subscribe listname" to majordomo@missprint.org

  to unsubscribe from the main list:	
	send "unsubscribe listname" to majordomo@missprint.org

  to subscribe to the digest version of the list:
	send "subscribe listname-digest" to majordomo@missprint.org

  to unsubscribe from the digest version of the list:
	send "unsubscribe listname-digest" to majordomo@missprint.org

2) Joining/leaving from a different email address
-------------------------------------------------

In these commands, substitute the address you want to
subscribe/unsubscribe for "email".  You will have to wait a little
while for the list owner to approve these.

  to subscribe to the main list:	
	send "subscribe listname email" to majordomo@missprint.org

  to unsubscribe from the main list:	
	send "unsubscribe listname email" to majordomo@missprint.org

  to subscribe to the digest version of the list:
	send "subscribe listname-digest email" to majordomo@missprint.org

  to unsubscribe from the digest version of the list:
	send "unsubscribe listname-digest email" to majordomo@missprint.org

3) Sending to the list
----------------------

To send a mail to the list, just send it to:

		listname@missprint.org

where "listname" is the name of your list.

4) List Archives
----------------

You'll find archives of your list at:

		/listname

where "listname" is the name of your list.

5) List owner
-------------

The owner of a majordomo list can always be contacted via the address:

		owner-listname@missprint.org

where "listname" is the name of the list you are subscribed to.
