I believe Ken has been claimed by the wilds of Scotland and may thus be
incapable of reporting back (or possibly just incapable, depending on how
much beer he's drunk). Not proper RB I'm afraid as I'm in a rush, but
here's a brief ode to the delightful picnic last Saturday, attended by Ken,
myself plus bump, Mr and Mrs Bapps aka Ben and Rachel, Robster and James:

Another sunny day, I met them outside the Odeon
Ken was digging vests, but someone had stolen the Unwins
Bapps took a photograph of us in the herbaceous border
It broke the heart of goths and tourists and joggers and mums.
Another rainy day, we're trapped inside with a few pints
Archel's on the OJ, steamy windows and stray cats
We've had the hilltop view looking out on the London Eye
And on a Saturday evening ringtones play in the dusk.
Another day in August, we've not got enough for football
There's frisbee for a bit, the wind is giving us fuck all
We saw them in the corner of our eyes on the sidelines
The dogs and pigeons bid us to hysterical deeds.
All the crisps are gone, we wander back to the tube stop
I take the Brighton route, they stay out after midnight
We took the Regents Park Road over to the offy
We found the avenue of trees went up Primrose Hill
That crazy avenue of trees, Sinister's living there still.
