Hullo,
Worky e-mail is down, the whole of the Department of ****** is on its knees, we
can no longer communicate with those sitting opposite us, so like me we all
recover from the loss of our electronic mail security blankie and go off and do
something less boring instead.
Like post here, for example.
Whilst the rest of the UK was jumping up and down for joy over the football
last night, I was watching a little teevee show entitled 'Whatever happened to
the Von Trapp children' or something like that. I admit, I love 'The Sound of
Music'..it rates up there along with all of the other trashy films which I
daren't mention (but which I *bet* you all like too *heh*) and it has
EVERYTHING; drama, romance, politics, religion and awful curtains made into
lederhosen. Yum!
When I was a kid, I used to revel in the three hours of the film whilst the
adults and cooler kids tutted and sighed at the repetitive festive palava of it
all.
I was absolutely engrossed in this show last night, humming along to all of the
songs and even indulging in a little 'Do-Re-Mi' of my own (that's not rude btw,
Ken or Will) Of course the actors and actresses who played the kids are all
middle-aged and grey now, but they could still jump and down on those steps in
Salzburg.
So anyway, as usual no content in this one, but if I've persuaded just one of
you to run up a hill very fast and twirl around at the top, then my mission has
been successful.
'The sun has gone to bed and so must I...gooooodbye!'
Love you all
