well I'm supposed to be studying at this moment but instead i thought i'd write
a pointless and meandering post to the nice people at sinister.
I'm thinking of taking a day off the daily strains of uni *life* to go on a
sojourn into the mountains with a couple of friends and these people idont
really know that well but think im going to like.My friend laura is going to
make a picnic consisting of sour dummies and cola-bottle sweets and ive been
entrusted with the booze.Im thinking a nice bottle of merlot and some vodka
with some ribena(thanks for the idea Sinister).
I said i would make a nice mix tape for the journey, and my friends heaved a
collective and distinct groan and stipulated NO RADIOHEAD.I said ok as long as
no one brought that bloody stupid bonjovi album which one of them has decided
to believe is kitsch rather than just plain awful.
So if anyone has any suggestions as to content of the mix tape id be interested
in hearing from you.I am converting one of them to B&S slowly,so it has to be
suggested but not over done.
with all this talk of childhood tv shows i thought i'd give a nostalgic nod to
the "mysterious cities of gold"
the magic roundabout, belle and sebastian (come on people),and of course fragle
rock. And a newy but a goody is pinky and the brain on anamaniacs.
