No, I wasn't this morning, but coincidentally I'm drunk NOW. This is what
happens if you hang out with people who are really very lovely et cetera,
but not exactly interesting, you "D. R. I. N. K." (The Jazz Butcher) !
Marianna's comment must sound very cliquey for anyone else, so let it be
known that I never confessed to Marianna personally that I write while
drunk, she must be married to a Scotland Yard agent.
Toy Suspicion, Hoards Of Cannabis and The Kinks Of Boredom ? In my humble
opinion equally forgettable combos, but hey, this is a minority opinion and
I'm all for democracy.

Which definition ? I wrote that *if* such a movement ever came into
existence and frankly, I'd (still) take the preference over Belle And
Sebastian as a compliment any day.

First and foremost, the missguided pragmatism of its list owners. Another
fine example, which happens to come to mind by sheer coincidence, would be
the obsession of some listees with Él Records, a label which only released
one decent record, namely the "Dinner With Nougat" 12" by The Gol Gappas.
Even the "Sean Connery" 12" by The James Dean Driving Experience was a
dissapointment and, accordingly, the final record to be issued by this
formerly fine outfit. Anyone who would like my copy of _The Camera Loves Me_
CD by The Would-Be-Goods (sheer coincidence, of course) ? I never found
anyone who'd take the copy voluntarily (a missguided present, I might add),
you'd only have to cover the postage.
As I mentioned to someone somewhere a couple of weeks ago, I shouldn't write
when I'm drunk ! I'm currently listening to the _Colour Sound_ LP by Jane
