Hi Folks,
I trust that all is sound in the land of parkandride and
everything is well with you all.
Just a quick reminder of the fact that those of you in/near
Glasgow can catch us live on Monday night at the Pearce Institute, Govan
Road (right across from the underground station). ITS FREE!!!! wow!! As part
of the Celtic Connections Fringe, which this is the first year of. Should be
grand. As far as i know, you just turn up on the door, but i'm waiting for
confirmation on this in case you need tickets in advance (even though its
free).
Keep It Clean is out as a single in late spring. Its going to be
backed with two new songs, 'San Francisco Song' and 'Amigo Mio' and will
also feature the video for 'Teenager'. We were away on Sunday filming the
video for it with Blair Young, who has previously done the videos for 'Your
Sound', and 'Teenager' for us, as well as editing 'Eighties Fan'. You may
also recognise him as our driver/merch man on tour (that was him). Careering
around Ayrshire in a dashing fashion on a 'field trip' was the order of the
day, and much fun was had by all (apart from the fact it was freezing). If
any footage appears involving 'vandalism', that wasn't me, it was a stunt
double and also a fake wall.
Tickets appear to be selling well for the Bush Hall shows with the
Trashcan Sinatras. So if you are wanting to come along, might be an idea to
get in for tickets soon. www.bushhallmusic.co.uk for more info.
In other news, we're going to be supporting Lambchop in Edinburgh
at the Queens Hall on Friday 26th March, and in York at the Barbican on
Saturday 27th march.
And Finally, We'll be playing at the Tryp Tych festival in Glasgow
in the Tron Theatre on Saturday 1st May as part of the Geographic Record's
Night. We've been kindly asked to play as part of the evening's
entertainment.
And that about it for now....
The Web Site WILL finally be back up and running VERY SOON!! trust
me, its almost fully operational.
