Hi folks,
hope all is well in the land of parkandride and everything is sound
with you all.
the winchester club is back tomorrow night and we've got a couple
of cracking live bands playing.
Kidd Dynamo are over from northern ireland playing an acoustic set for
us, sounding somewhere in the region of red house painters and sparklehorse,
they've just released a new single on nodancing records which has been going
down well with peel and lamacq.
Pioneers of Anaesthetic are also up, playing loose tunes on simple
instruments.
After which the winchester club dj's (myself, carey, sarah, ally, lucy
and john pop league) will be playing records for your dancing pleasure until
2am.
As usual its in the woodside social club, 239 north woodside road, just
off great western road at kelvinbridge underground.
the doors are 9pm, bands are on at 10pm, and the dj'ing begins at
11.30pm. Entry is £4 (£3 after 11.30)
