Hello folks,
i hope that everything is sound in the land of parkandride, and all is well with you all. it's kind of list abuse i'm afraid, but not really, since carey and i are dj's and co-run the thing with various other memebrs of this parish, so bear with us if you will. thanks to everyone who came along to the winchester club last month, it was a really good night, with great sets from troika and malcolm middleton, and some great records afterwards. This Saturday we are back in the woodside social club (north woodside road, just off great western road at kelvinbridge) with live sets from Aerospace, who are travelling over from Sweden, with their brand of indie guitar pop, and Glaswegian troubadour Chris Leonard (of this parish), playing us some of his acoustic folky songs. After the bands, the winchester club dj's will be playing records for your dancing pleasure until 2am, with the usual mix of eclectic tunes, and a few surprises. Entry is once again four pounds, (three pounds after the bands are finished). The doors open at 9pm, the bands will start at 10pm, and the dj'ing will go from around 11.30pm. A good night is certain for all, so anyone not going to T in the Park, come along, cheers, Gavin
