Hello all:
So,as mr.Dunbar mentioned, Camera Obscura played their first ever spanish gig
last friday. The gig was good and happy, maybe it would have been better if
Tracy's health was slightly better and if the sound technician had remembered
that they were taking a string section, for god's sake !
But the gig was really cool, involved "park and ride", "before you cry" and
"number one son" and then the whole album except 3 or 4 songs. The band had a
long promo-work to do, including an interview for the nation-wide Radio 3 and a
session of signing albums that was attended by many fans. It was good to see
that many people showed up at the gig speically after the coincidence with the
local indie-pop heroes La Buena Vida, who are one of those bands that always a
good british indie follower should check.
Mr.Aitor took some really nice pics, and myself I played the host part for miss
Sarah Dorman, who stayed until tuesday morning.
I promised a Jordiet scottish tour, but that might take a bit long ;)
