Hello folks,
hope that all is sound in the land of parkandride, and
everything is well with you all.
It would appear that the rare uk bird offer on 101cd.com is
over. It was in a sale bit, but the price appears to have gone back to its
usual scary level.
I tend to dj every friday in Bacchus on Glassford street in
Glasgow if anyone in the locality wishes to hear decent tunes of a friday
evening. Expect the likes of new order, belles, ash, beatles, kinks, stones,
and that sort of thing, even get away with the fall and the wedding present
occasionally when asked ;-)
This weekend at the post grad club at Glasgow Uni will be djing
at a gig with The Boy Cartograher and Stabiliser (my other band). Its a free
show, but you will need to get your name put down on the guest list due to
the fact that its a private members club (a bit like the winchester out of
minder, but with less criminals, and a music licence) email dani@xxxxxxxxxx

Some members of this parish might be interested to note that
Avalanche records recently had a run on Tompaulin singles. A guy bought two
and asked after more, so i went upstairs and dug out the car crash cd which
had been put aside for someone and forgotten about. He came back in today
and said he'd been and ordered an early one from an interweb site cause he
enjoyed them so much, i advised him to get the album (which we are currently
sold out of) he seemed happy enough, and said his wife liked them as well,
so it was a bonus. (Sorry, list abuse: Jamie, i can feel a trip to
m-6-chester coming on soon, fancy a vodka or ten? Amos, i'll get that
manchester mini-disc off to you this week, once i find it in my raiders of
the lost arc-arc of the covenant filing system, haven't forgotten, just been
busy)
