hello all. your dangerous friend is here. lock up your daughters! and your household pets just in case. ;o)

i looked up rare uk bird on 101cd.com, and they seem to be charging £23.79. unless there is a sale bit i missed somewhere, then it looks like they're charging full-price for it. sorry, y'all.

the national pop league was wonderful. lots of dancing, a fair amount of drinking, and stalking stevie jackson to the 24hr shop on great western road, but no more shall be said about that! tracyanne and john from CO were there too. (there may have been others, but i didnt notice. apologies if any offence has been caused!) they played lots of great music, including TWO rem songs, which made me very very happy. other highlights were elastica - 'line up', the undertones - 'teenage kicks', idlewild - 'actually its darkness' and CO - 'happy new year'.

gavin, you really should tell me things like when you're DJing and the like, then i might come and see you. you should just use this list to further your own career as a sooperstar deejay. ditch the band, and go and do remixes for the so solid crew. BO SELECTA!

......or maybe not.

enjoy yourselves in the land of park and ride,

love and paperclips, mike.xx

ps - i was actually thinking that Dangerous Mike could be a character in one of those guy ritchie, gangster-film-by-numbers things. vinnie jones to play me in the movie of my life perhaps?

Hello folks,
hope that all is sound in the land of parkandride, and
everything is well with you all.
people looking for rare uk bird should maybe try www.101cd.com
who are reportedly doing it on sale for the comparitively cheap price of
£10.49, which is less than half the usual cost of ordering it on import.
the air session the other week was fun, glad people enjoyed it.
it was nice to do a different version of swimming pool. Playing live in the
studio seemed a bit more nerve wracking this time round than for the peel
christams show, maybe the fact that we hadn't been plied with drink made a
difference, dunno.
some more session news coming soon, all will be revealed in the
fullness of time.
we've been getting more emails from people saying they are
having difficulty getting ahold of biggest bluest hi-fi. It should be
possible to order it through any record shop that deals with Prime
Distribution, which includes the major chain stores. Catalogue number is
and1733 for the vinyl (almost sold out, so if you want it, better get your
skates on) and and17cd for the cd.
can i just say that dangerous michael sounds like a character
from TV's minder (that fantastic bafta award winning british television
comedy drama of the 70's-90's). Ah, those amusing character names, Maltese
Tony, Arty the Greek, Self-Inflicted, Mindless Michael... to match only
fools and horses' Monkey Harris, Paddy the Greek and Sunglasses Ron.
How was the National Pop League? I can't go to it cause i'm
always djing in bacchus on a friday night, playing much the same thing as it
goes, except mixed with 60's guitar stuff and some other bits and pieces,
but i digress.....
Thats it for now, until there is more news thats fit to print
(not theft of christmas decorations or urinating in a celebrity bidet),
cheers, Gavin
