hello the parkandriders!
i'm listening to xfm right now at work and i can't
bloody call them to request a song!! grrr... the best
songs played so far were "last nite" by the strokes
and "loaded" by the primals... people kept calling
asking for - what's their face? - foo fighters and
sepultura! the best bit was when they played the
advert of the new motorhead lp and lemmy was screaming
something like: "fuck ^&%%$kdfui&*&%5 c^%67et *^&S^U
bitch!" something!
and ... come on baby eat the rich... either way!
exciting news!! for me anyway... in a couple of months
marianne faithful's new album's gonna be released...
and she's cooperated with the blur and beck in that!
mmm i wonder... and mr billy-yikes-crogan! yikes!
i wonder... till when am i going to read reviews about
my friends' gigs without actually having been there
myself? or talk to them on the phone whilst
soundchecking to wish them luck and order them not to
go on stage pissed or scream requests over the phone
so i could be heard over untuned instruments,
giggling, screeking noises coming from the back, gavin
screaming at the back "where the fuck is my vodka with
irn-bru you bloody dobber?? i'm coming over there to
boot yer bloody stones!!" etc etc...
grrr... soon though... soon... the obscuras, i'm
trying to cut a deal for you lads to play here with
another band... mmm i won't tell you what band... ok
i'll give you hints... 3 words, second word is 'and'
and first letter of first word is B... and from what i
know so far they're quite positive about playing
here!!! and i'm making the posters of course!!
otherwise no fecking deal!! hehe... ok just messing...
have to go... have an important appointment... but no
matter how important an appointment is i can't but be
late... authority complex they call it...
