(.. but then i got high)
Hello the land of park and ride,
Just wanted to say that I went to the Camera Obscura gig at the Spitz on
Wednesday (therefore I'm cool), and that the gig was great. I was further
down the back this time but thanks to the slightly raised stage and some
ferocious tip-toeing I managed to see bits of it.
Some things I learnt that night:
- An autoharp is also called a zither, nice to actually hear it in action too.
- A half keyboard/half recorder thing is known as a "melodica"
A couple of comments I heard from the crowd
- The bassist looks like a bouncer.
- The guitarist looks like a thug.
Thank God the bassist wasn't actually a bouncer, and thus I managed to avoid
ejaculation. Although he was kinda good lookin'...
