hope all is well with you all and everything is sound in the
land of parkandride.
we do get asked about rare uk bird quite a lot, so it seems
sensible to explain the situation with it again.
It is a japan only release, through quattro records, which has
the five tracks from the first two singles, and three other songs, including
an acoustic version of eighties fan that we did some time ago. It was out of
print for a while, but appears to have been re-pressed with the release of
biggest bluest hi fi in japan.
Your only chance to get it really, is either straight from
quattro (www.net-flyer.com - click on quattro disc, there is a camera
obscura page (and the video for your sound is up there somewhere), or
through an import comapany that deals with quattro. Its rather expensive.
Avalanche have tried to order it before, and its about £25/30 selling price.
Your other bet is to try ebay, or an interweb mail order company.
The tracks from it are up on audio galaxy though, if anyone
would like to hear them (Matt has put the eighties fan version up on
www.theparkandride.co.uk). The other two tracks unavailable elsewhere are
railway station and eastwood. try searching on them.
